Today is my six!!! year anniversary at @SES_dev. Feeling very grateful for a lot of people today. Although I am a lil older, I am still having so much fun here working on Astroneer and am excited for what else is to come. 💓 🥹

- As a person who advocates for diversity in games this whole thing is laughable We have had exactly 1!! female protagonist in the top 25 bestselling games of the last three years. That list also includes only 1 Latino. That's not forced diversity. There is no diversity at all.
- Saying “aMoNg Us WaSnT fIrSt” is a bad take: Among us is inspired by Mafia but adds brand new mechanics (emergency meetings, tasks, cameras, 3D, no moderator & a lot more) Imposters is a reskinned remake that reuses most of the SPECIFIC features that Among Us introduced.
- Replying to @staymightyIt sucks because a diverse group of overworked and exploited workers are fighting for any crumbs of representation in games + the worst internet people are trying to convince everyone that like 3 brown side characters are a big conspiracy lol
- Replying to @staymightytechnically you can count 2 if you include Saga from Alan Wake but arguably the game is about Alan. Either way, the math aint mathing.

- When they say “labor shortage” they are actually saying: “there is a shortage of people willing to be exploited for non livable wages”The owner class’s response to the labor shortage is even more insane than I expected

- Indie game length discourse is bunz. Astroneer has been updated 40+ times, constantly has an event running with rewards & people still review negatively because “no content”…all for the cost of two movie tickets. These people will never be happy, don’t let them get to you.
- Can't sleep. Sitting at my desk watching hundreds of people playing Astroneer 1.0 and realizing that I now have helped ship a video game. So many emotions. Dreams come true.
