Especially since the women who survived the titanic and said it split in half before fully sinking just straight up weren’t believed and called crazy until I think ~70 years later when they found the wreckage and went “ohhhhhhh”; that footage would’ve been very helpful for them

I got my license at a similar time as you and in our classroom portion they told a story about (TW child death) a little girl burning to death while the state trooper could only listen, and that same guy also said “at least one of you will be dead b4 graduation from driving”

I only took sign for 2 years and it’s easy to tell this is real, but even reading just ONE ARTICLE on Deaf culture/facial expressions would tell you that. People really feel entitled to say whatever the hell they want to increase prejudice against already marginalized communities
