    Pretty much how Vegas works. I was once at Carbone with a large party in the private dining room. Half way through our meal, the host walks in and tells us he needs the room right now and will give us 50% off (worked out to ~$1K) We were pretty much done anyways, just waiting on

    Fun fact: the @DoorDash logo is actually based on the Japanese bullet train (Shinkansen). We thought it best reflected the core values of what we aspired to build: a logistics network that's fast, reliable, efficient and utilitarian. medium.com/@DoorDash/the-…

    Great summary of what first year at DoorDash was like. Key takeaways: - There’s no magic to it. It’s about constant trial and error - Ideas aren’t generated in a vacuum. You have to talk to customers - Do things that don’t scale
