Yup. That's exactly why I chose to write my own 3D multiplayer cross-platform game/physics/rendering engine instead. Self-funded, guaranteed high ROI. For sure for sure

..actually I'm realizing all existing platforms are deeply flawed and the most reasonable option is to roll my own hardware orchestration scheme or "OS". And no language is making all the right trade-offs, so I'll just make a little program to interpret some commands for me..

    Took me a sec to convince myself of this: 0.08 * 25 = (8 * 0.01) * 25 = 8 * (0.01 * 25) = 8 * 0.25 Good ol' associativity.

In a sec. I gotta finish making this custom font so that I can make my own GUI library so that I can tweak my engine's variables at run time so that I can have a collaborative peer-to-peer multiplayer editing experience so that I can ship this game so that I can fund my--

Shout out to the WebGPU/dawn devs at @ChromiumDev. I've been using WebGPU daily in Canary for over a year and the error and deprecation messages have been really helpful. Keeping up with all the standard and API changes has been a lot easier than I expected.

I just checked my notes and code comments, and I found half a dozen links to answers.unity.com. @unity, don't burn the collective work of thousands of people! The community trusted you to be a good steward.

😁The feeling is mutual!! Last week was my first full week on LaC and damn it was so much fun, and I'm so excited about what we're building!! Also did ya'll know Markus has like half a dozen bespoke engines he just casually built sitting around waiting for a perfect game??🤯
Having another programmer to talk to is SO MUCH FUN. Very excited to have Daryl be part of the team now. Also, at some point all this excitement turned me into a morning person.

I love vibe! My brain has a little bit of a hard time understanding the shape of the buttons on the dialog as they don’t quite seem like theyre jutting or recessed but very evocative of those. IMHO id say lean into a bit of skeuomorphism everywhere instead of flat or outline
