Fantastic from Postecoglou and something I can relate to. What would my dad think? "When my teams play, I still pretend my father is watching in the grandstand. Would he be enjoying watching? That has always been the route of everything I have done." trainingground.guru/articles/ange-…

My 8 year old has just been trick or treating with 4 other friends in Sale. Nice man pulled up in his car. Lady in passenger seat said ‘sing happy birthday, he’s 21 today’, so they did. And he gave each of them a £20 note. Thank you @MarcusRashford 👏🏻👏🏻

Wenger won 3 too and Mourinho called him a specialist in failure. Respect?
"And I won three PL titles, more than any of the other 19 managers. Respect, please" Jose Mourinho snaps back at journalists following @ManUtd's horror 3-0 defeat to @SpursOfficial. 😳 #MUFC #MUNTOT Full press conference 👉 youtube.com/watch?v=TGPZgc…

South Korea is absolutely fanatical about Son Heung-min. 30-min doco about him on TV on Monday. More tonight. And they don’t show Spurs badge for match, just his head

Pochettino trusts Winks in Bernabeu. Conte whinges about not having enough players after offloading Abraham, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah etc

Sol Campbell played at Euros and World Cups. Joey Barton didn't. Campbell has the Uefa Pro Licence. Barton doesn't. Sol Campbell has coached professionally. Joey Barton hasn't. Character references also contrast significantly. Which one gets a manager's job?

Dean Saunders says Lallana should have gone to the World Cup because “I saw him against Bury yesterday and he was the best player on the pitch”

Every time Bielsa talks about Spygate it’s making him look stronger. Every time Lampard talks about it it’s making him look weaker.

“Mel Morris, owner of Derby, a very well run club,” says Jim White following interview. Derby turned a profit for first time in 10 years in 2017/18, but only after they’d sold the stadium to the owner and leased it back. For every £100 in turnover, they spent £137 on wages

Mark Hughes has been paid about £6m in compensation after being sacked by Southampton. It’s a familiar pattern. He’s earned incredible riches from a pretty underwhelming managerial career.

Joey Barton - who described Klopp as ‘giant German cheerleader’, said Hodgson looked like he ‘needed to be taken into back garden and have someone pull the trigger’ & ‘baffled’ by Southgate appointment - has Fleetwood 11th on one of Lg1’s biggest budgets & facing assault charge

Man Utd are focusing on signing young players of potential. Problem is they’ve got absolutely no pedigree of developing young players (in fact any players) over the last 5 years or more

Get annoyed by this 'Liverpool/ Man City aren't good at defending' and they could learn from Hodgson/ Dyche/ Allardyce etc. These top teams take risks/ play high up the pitch/ push their full-backs up/ require their defenders to bring the ball out. Completely different game.
