- ‘The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish’ is completely off Nickelodeon & TeenNick after tomorrow.
- A new channel titled PBS Retro has launched on Roku Channel today and is airing classic PBS Kids programming such as ‘Zoboomafoo’, ‘Kratts Creatures’, ‘Thomas & Friends’, & ‘Mr. Rogers Neighborhood’.
- One of the purged HBO Max shows has been saved by PBS Kids!🌙👔"The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo" is coming to PBS KIDS starting February 10, 2023! It will air on Fri-Sun nights at 6:30pm/5:30c on the PBS KIDS 24/7 Channel.
- The way every single Nickelodeon produced TMNT series ended up finishing its run on Nicktoons 😭‘Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ has been cancelled at Paramount+. The second and final season will premiere on Paramount+ this December and will premiere on Nicktoons in 2026.
- BREAKING: Primal Screen, the Atlanta based animation and graphic design advertising studio will be closing at the end of May. They’ve done a lot of work with Warner Bros Discovery (including CN, Boomerang, HBO Kids, & Cartoonito), Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, Universal Kids, & more
- Max has removed the “Kids & Family” tile off of their brand spotlight and it’s now just absorbed with their Browse by Genre section.
- The so called “next gen” of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr’s animated slate of primarily CGI, reboots, & full series of viral web shows has officially wrapped with all shows in this campaign confirmed ended. ‘Tiny Chef’ the last one remaining has just been cancelled at the network.
- The new ‘Vampirina’ series for Disney Channel has been revealed and will be called ‘Vampirina: Teenage Vampire’.
- Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs is finally coming to the US. Starting September 30th, it will available to stream on HBO Max.
- All new episodes of current running Nickelodeon shows now put the copyright byline at the end of the credits instead of putting it on the bottom of the Nickelodeon Productions card. Seen with new ‘SpongeBob’, ‘Blaze’, ‘Baby Shark’ just to name a few.
- Rest in Paradise, Betty White. She is such an icon. One of the roles I loved her playing was Beatrice in SpongeBob. She was on the episode “Mall Girl Pearl”. #BettyWhite #RIPBettyWhite
- Cartoon Network has updated their profile picture on their social medias to reflect the new Pastel branding.
- Well it looks like Disney XD is now a death treatment for animated shows. DuckTales will most likely be ending after its 3rd season. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens with Big Hero 6: The Series.
I love seeing the #RenewDuckTales2017 hashtag but regretfully inform you that the show is very much done and has been done for a little while now. Not sure why Disney Channel has yet to announce this, but it’s the truth.
