Sometimes we all need help getting through the difficult days - once a day as I take my ‘help’ I’m reminded that strength comes from caring for yourself and being open to the love of others.

- Today I have written to our Prime Minster @RishiSunak @10DowningStreet urging him to facilitate urgent & meaningful negotiations between @SteveBarclay & @theRCN @patcullen9 There may be a small window of opportunity to avert industrial action, it must be taken.
- Something very close to my 💜. As part of the Every Name a Person #ENAP initiative, we have produced a beautiful wooden dandelion as a sign of remembrance. One will remain with the person who dies & the other will be given to their next of kin as a way of connecting memories.
- Over the next few days @gloshospitals will be implementing a new ward & organisation role #PPESafetyOfficer highly visible colleagues like @KezHolden & a team of volunteer colleagues. 1, Safe donning & doffing 2, Information 3, Reassurance & support 4, Human factors & fatigue
- I’ve been overwhelmed by the wonderful messages celebrating the announcement of my MBE. I am truly humbled to be recognised in this way, and I am honoured to have worked with and alongside remarkable colleagues - to each and everyone, thank you - this is for us.

- Every additional 1% ⬆️ in NHS pay would cost £700m, the NHS in England spends over £9 billion on a temporary workforce, there is a way forward to give nurses a fair pay rise, reduce turnover & bring nurses back. @SteveBarclay please start negotiating /W @patcullen9 @theRCN
