"It feels as if mornings and nights no longer exist." In Banda, India's hottest place, life is being reorganised around extreme heat. For many of its 2 million-plus residents enduring 47°C is not a choice but a necessity. My and @Neetugc's report. bit.ly/3RGQIwu #Heat

Twice now, @IndiGo6E has charged me for seat selection and food, only to deny me both on board, blaming "system issues." The latest was yesterday. To make it worse, they won’t even refund the money. Unacceptable for an airline to cheat customers due to a faulty payment system.

Man gets drunk, befriends a stranger who joins him in his car for drinks. Man forgets he is in his own car, gets out when stranger asks him to, takes a metro home. Stranger drives off with the car. Best story of the day.

Munawar Faruqui has spent more than 25 days in prison for jokes he evidently didn't crack. He has been refused bail twice, and a fresh plea is coming up in high court today. My piece on the young man and his jokes. bbc.in/2Yf6j7q #MunawarFaruqui #standup #comedy
