WOW! Duke 69. NW MO State 63. It's a final. The Bearcats gave the #4 ranked Duke Blue Devils a heck of a game. Trevor Hudgins put on a show with 27 points, and was the leading scorer - for either team - in the game. @NWBearcatMBB @NCAADII

Think about this: Nova Southeastern went 36-0 & won the NCAA DII National Championship. They lost all five starters, and are now 32-2 and will be playing for the 2024 National Championship on Saturday. What Coach Jim Crutchfield has done is truly amazing! @NSUSharks @NCAADII

Last season, Gannon was 3-23. Enter Jordan Fee as the Head Coach. The Knights just won the PSAC regular season & tourney titles...and have now won 21 straight and are 32-2, and just won the region to advance to the NCAA DII Elite Eight. One of the greatest turnarounds in sports.

NW MO State guards Diego Bernard & Trevor Hudgins are 97-3 in three years together....and they have not lost a single NCAA Tournament game in their careers, now going 11-0 with 2 National Championships (the 2020 NCAA Tourney was cancelled). Think about those ridiculous numbers.

The Elite Eight is really fun to watch.....it would be eye opening for all high school coaches and high school players that want to play college basketball to watch. The top level of NCAA Div. II basketball is very, very good. @NCAADII #collegebasketball

At the moment, NW MO State is 137-8 over the last five seasons, and they have won all NCAA Division II National Championships that have taken place in that span. Think about that.... @NWBearcatMBB @bearcatsports @NCAADII @usatodaysports @espn @ESPNU @TheMIAA @SInow

I understand the regional philosophy of NCAA DII. I really do. I was an NCAA DII Athletic Director and I've been on the NCAA DII National Basketball Committee. I get it. It just stinks when 2 (or more) of the very best teams in the country are in the same region - in any sport.

This is Division II basketball at a very, very high level. NW MO State won the MIAA Tournament Championship against a talented MO Southern team. Trevor Hudgins was named MVP after having 31 pts and 6 assists. He was spectacular- again. @NCAADII @NWBearcatMBB

What an atmosphere for college basketball! It’s standing room only at MO Western, as the Griffons host the #1 ranked NW MO State Bearcats. @NCAADII @NWBearcatMBB @gogriffons

Tonight, Trevor Hudgins saw his first action in a regular season NBA game, playing for the Houston Rockets. He played 3:47, and took one shot, nailing a 3-pointer to give him his first NBA points. The Milwaukee Bucks downed the Rockets, 125-105. @NWBearcatMBB @TheMIAA @NCAADII

In recent weeks, NCAA Division II players have now signed with Kansas, Baylor, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Wichita State, Creighton, Long Beach State and many other NCAA Division I programs. Yes, NCAA DII has many high level players - and high level professional players. @NCAADII
