Average pediatric nephrologist here. No point at all. Also, I went to medical school where Dr Oz did his surgical residency. I must have missed the “taste my own urine” practicum day. Still graduated though.

Such devastating news, for Sue, his family, @CincyKidsPCCM for @CincyChildrens @CincyPedNeph. I interviewed with him 12 yr ago to join CCHMC. He was true to his word that a nephrologist could research AKI and train fellows in the ICU. It was a privilege to work with him.

Incredibly sad news. We lost a #PedsICU giant yesterday. Hector Wong, MD passed away unexpectedly. He was division head at Cincinnati for over 20 years before stepping up to interim chair. He leaves a massive legacy of sepsis research and trainees spread around the world.
