Having a pet is basically just asking "how did you get so cute?" followed by "why are you wet?" 6 or 7 times a day.

I know that when I—a Hebrew-speaking occupation army —deliver Medical Supplies™ to a largely Arabic-speaking hospital, I make sure to always print off plenty of labels in English for each side of all of the crates so as to fully cover the actual labels on the boxes. For clarity.
Photo of a pallet with assorted sizes of boxes shrink wrapped together. Some of the boxes are tossed on rather haphazardly, and all of them have white letter sized papers attached to every visible side, covering the logos on the actual boxes. The papers read, in all caps English, medical supplies, with a black frame around the edges.

THE WHITE HOUSE: 100 million people, about ⅓ of everyone in the US, will most likely get COVID this coming fall and winter. ALSO THE WHITE HOUSE: Got spare COVID money? Why not give it to the cops?!

It's been brought to my attention that there is a harmful word in my new song "GRRRLS". Let me make one thing clear: I never want to promote derogatory language. As a fat black woman in America, I've had many hurtful words used against me so I overstand the power words can have (whether intentionally or in my case, unintentionally). I'm proud to say there's a new version of GRRRLS with a lyric change. This is the result of me listening and taking action. As an influential artist I'm dedicated to being part of the change I've been waiting to see in the world. Xoxo, Lizzo.

I've seen a lot of this sort of mask wearing in the selfie trend. Does the bridge of your nose have a corner? NO! When you leave that crease in, you're leaving a gap that COVID can enter! See it in the profile? But it's the shape, right? What can you do? Here's an easy fix.🧵
Selfie of me in three-quarter view. I am a white person with dark hair pulled back away from my face. I'm wearing a black tank top and a black KN95 mask with a very obvious cleanly folded line down the middle from the top of my nose to the seam in the front of the mask. A colorful X icon has been pasted in over the left cheek of the mask.
Selfie of me just as in the last image, but now in profile. A colorful square has framed the top of the mask over the nose bridge, showing nearly a quarter inch of gap between my nose and the the mask. A flustered blushing face emoji is pasted under the square.

Today's a great day to remember that, if you need a doctor's note to wear a mask at work: 1. The CDC has helpfully provided a list of high risk conditions which can necessitate masking in order to protect yourself or a loved one, and... 2. Many of them are very, very common.

If you or your family member are at high risk for severe illness, wear a mask or respirator with greater protection in public indoor spaces if you are in an area with a high COVID-19 hospital admission level. Talk with your healthcare provider about wearing a mask in a medium COVID-19 hospital admission level.

"If you notice, no one's wearing masks." 1. Gosh, I simply can't imagine why. 2. All that means is we're barreling headfirst into the polar opposite of the pandemic being over. 3. I DEFINITELY FUCKING NOTICED.

I dunno, people have been getting super close to me lately... Maybe it still needs more spikes...
Front view of me, a white person with tied back dark hair and wearing a black tank top, rectangular black framed glasses, and my Flo Mask. The cover has been painted semi-gloss black and spiked on the sides, bottom, and left and right side of the top arc. The front view shows the spikes have been left off where the thumb snap to remove the cover is.
Lefthand view of the same spiked mask situation. My straps are crisscrossed to the opposite anchors as usual, because of my weird nose not getting a seal with the normal configuration. From this angle, you can see the spikes on the side better.
Righthand view of the same situation, with my chin slightly tlted up to show where I've left the logo imprint unpainted and framed out with spikes on the bottom.
