Today my 15 year old voice student and I cried together, as I told her she likely has to go to a doctor to get her vocal folds looked at, because she didn’t recover from her “summer flu” infection in June (it was covid)

Found out yesterday that my 17 year old student got cast opposite of a 37 year old man, who is supposed to be their love interest in the musical If this man makes my student uncomfortable or does anything inappropriate, I will get on a plane lol But really um… not great
