Peter Oborne - a Tory - understood Corbyn was being smeared and said so, at God alone knows what personal and professional cost. In a world of Andrew Neils and Emily Maitlises, be a Peter Oborne. #ItWasAScam
“I feel ashamed that I bought into the narrative about Jeremy Corbyn. I should have been a lot more careful and scrupulous about some of my journalism. Others could make the same assessment" @OborneTweets on the Labour Files:

They banned Palestine Action because it was effective, not because of 'terrorism'.
Despite being banned, Palestine Action claimed a victory this week. Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems appears to have quietly closed its Bristol factory, which the Guardian reports finding deserted when it visited last week. The site was targeted dozens of times by

Hi @BBC Care to explain why you didn't broadcast South Africa's case at the ICJ, but did broadcast Israel's defence? Care to defend this on the grounds of 'impartiality', which your Charter requires? #ItWasAScam

A London flat is sold for £160m, a princess demands a £2m carriage ride, and a news report shows 440 people died homeless in the last twelve months. Think we may have taken a wrong turn somewhere.

You called it 'broadband communism' when Corbyn proposed it. You're profoundly sick, BBC.

Corbyn was going to nationalise water: Fry called him a Jew-hater. Get in the bin, you ridiculous fraud. #ItWasAScam
Stephen Fry says the water industry should be nationalised. Spot on Stephen! What a shame so many so called progressives did everything they could to help destroy the politics that promised to do just that #BBCLauraK

Corbyn has achieved three things, I think. 1. He's exposed how systematically rotten the country is, media, politics and all. Rotten to the core. 2. He's demonstrated that a decent, rational politician will never be allowed to take office in the UK. 3. He's opened a lot of eyes.

BBC in crisis as Nigel Farage off-air for almost 11 minutes. 'We apologise to viewers for the interruption to Nigel Farage,' a BBC source said. 'Normal Farage will be resumed as soon as possible.'

Hi @lisanandy. Why have you taken £52,000 from Israel lobbyists, and why do you not state these donations when speaking about Israel/Gaza and the BBC? There's a plain-as-day conflict of interest here. Explain yourself. #ItWasAScam

The IDF is an institution, not a person. Calling for its 'death' is calling for its activities to be curtailed. Pretending it calls for 'violence against Jews' is plainly fraudulent.
