Imagine if Germany’s foreign minister gave the Nazi salute to Jewish youth commemorating the Holocaust. Unbelievable, even by Turkish government standards

Armenia is about to be invaded and not a single news media, except Politico, is reporting it
🇹🇷🇦🇿 Türk F-16 savaş uçakları, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk 2023 Tatbikatı için Azerbaycan'a ulaştı.

The last photo of the last clergy of Dadivank. They arrived in Armenia on Oct. 1, 2023, marking that day the first time in 1722 years when no Armenian Christian prayer is heard in Artsakh / Nagorno-Karabakh. Before leaving the sacred monastery, they prayed for return.

“‘We won’t leave’: Armenians in Jerusalem push back against armed settlers.” A controversial real estate project threatens the world’s oldest Armenian diaspora community. But they refuse to move.

Last year a Russian-speaking elder shared how — after 7 days of hunger at a Nazi concentration camp — he had given up hope until his mate found 2 turnips Boris Romanchenko survived the Holocaust But he did not survive Russia’s ongoing shelling — or “denazification” — of Kharkiv

Pres. Trump, since this humanitarian ceasefire like the previous two will likely not be observed by Azerbaijan, hope the US government has follow-up plans. Turkey is the main reason why this war is taking place, so sanctioning them would be the single most important act for peace

Ethiopia’s government is using Turkish drones — like Azerbaijan did in Nagorno-Karabakh — to attack civilian infrastructure in Tigray.
Nighttime drone attack in #Mekelle. No conceivable military targets! #MekelleHospital among the targets and at least three bombs dropped. #AbiyAhmed doing what he does best: killing children & innocent civilians. #TigrayWillPrevail!

Last night Yo-Yo Ma, the world’s best known cellist, performed Krunk (Groong), an ancient Armenian melody by Komitas that earlier this month became the unofficial peace hymn of Armenian resistance in Artsakh after a cellist performed it in Shushi’s bombarded Holy Savior Cathedral

Armenia is a small country, so you can literally call every inch of Armenia “border” by big country standards. But I don’t think calling Azerbaijan’s invasion of Armenia “a border clash” is a mainstream media error. This is deliberate. And this will not be forgotten.

BREAKING One of my nightmares from the 2020 has apparently come true today. Hours ago Azerbaijan reportedly invaded & occupied sacred Amaras, home to the 4th c. mausoleum of a local saint, as well as the first & oldest Armenian school, est. in early 5th c. lragir.am/2023/09/20/785…
I asked a British news crew to visit Amaras: they have double-confirmed that the church is under Armenian / Russian control. But it’s reportedly extremely close to Azerbaijan’s new positions, which may explain why it has not been recorded on Russian peace keeping maps thus far.

As I predicted in November, Azerbaijan is moving now to polish out medieval Armenian inscriptions on captured churches. Earlier today, Dr. Ilham Aliyev (yup, the man who wiped out 28,000 medieval monuments in Nakhichevan has a PhD in history!), proclaimed the inscriptions “fake”

Azerbaijan will preserve — for now — major sites like Dadivank (Khutavanq) by proclaiming them “Caucasian Albanian” (a ridiculous 1960s theory) & by polishing out Armenian letters. This will be hard at Dadivank, as there are 100+ inscriptions, but they will find a way 3/4

This young Armenian man should be singing in a band, not on the battlefield. But what else do you when genocidal maniacs want to wipe your homeland out?
