Some of you have don't even have a NPS Pipe Size chart on your cubicle and it shows. Not defending the goofy naming. It is what it is, because it was so 98 years ago. Piping is for flow. The ID was set as the nominal ID of that pipe size. The OD was set to match flange sizes.

I don't think people outside the industry grasp the current situation in controls software. Modern controls platforms are only one level above embedded development. Except everything is vendor locked and you need to be a specialist to make anything useful. Documentation is

I've never been baited so hard printcels vs chad MX-5 Miata 1. Coil over strut + auxiliary damper?? Ok why is the upper control arm split that way? the aux damper pin point is has less support than the coil-strut. why not be symmetrical with a triangle and save weight/space?

Machine control is a very different beast. Its not one system; The UI has its own hardware. Sometimes it runs on same physical hardware but on a different chip. Or even on a PC, and some run on a RTOS. The PLC/PMC is completely separated. It handles external sensors switches

What a stupid take. Ryan Air is the most well known cheap airline. They have the best safety record. There is no credible stats, not even a hint, that low-cost airlines are less safe.
