But when the handful of MTFs who had come to the worskhop dared to speak out, the hostility toward them was palpable. FTMs take male hormones so they can look as masculine as possible. Most of them would have surgery to give themselves penises if they could afford it and if the surgery could create a fully-functional male sex organ. Why do these folks qualify as 'leather dykes' when MTFs don't? MTFs take female hormones, love their tits, often undergo painful surgery to create female genitals, and live full-time as females and as dykes. - Replying to @shadell131Actual trans people can look however, but maybe don’t emphasize the experience of disability that stops you from taking care of you appearance and poverty that prevents HRT if you are talking about how hot those things are and also haven’t had that specific transfem fatigue.

- Replying to @shadell131I don't mean the people who think she deserved the harassment; fash are gonna fash. Rather, I've run into a lot of a left "ally" type who says "yes, the harassment was terrible, BUT also her videos made (lists a bunch of errors that her videos don't do)."
- An estimated 7 to 10% of women CAFAB have PCOS. If it made you transfem, TMA, etc., then trans women would immediately become a tiny fraction of the words we invented to describe our particular challenges, an easily ignored minority in our own identity.
