11 dogs from @PasadenaHumane are now safe at our Oceanside campuses. We sent 2 teams to free up shelter space due to the devastating #EatonFire. Tomorrow, additional teams are ready to head north, should our partners need more assistance during this catastrophic event.

This sweet pig is now safe after first responders flagged down our Emergency Response Team in Altadena. The pig's pen had been burned down in the #EatonFire and the back of the property was no longer secured. Sheltering in place was not an option.

#CaldorFire: Our Emergency Response Team in #ElDoradoCounty just picked up Speedy, a 45 year old turtle, who was home alone in South Lake Tahoe. The owners are out of town and asked our team to pick up their pet ahead of potential evacuation orders as the Caldor Fire spreads.

Devastation all around, but these 9 chickens and pea hens in Altadena are thankfully okay. During day 3 for our Emergency Response Team at the #EatonFire, they are getting calls for welfare checks on animals left behind during evacs. We are so glad these birds were unharmed.
Sage and Pippa are safe! On day 3, our Emergency Response Team responded to 37 calls, including a welfare check on 2 cats left behind when their owners had to evacuate their Altadena home due to the #EatonFire. We're so glad these sweet cats are back with their family!
