    Calgary, here we come! Our team left this afternoon with a pipe to assist the @cityofcalgary with the repair of a catastrophic water-main failure. The pipe is set to arrive on Wednesday. We wish Calgary the best of luck in getting the repairs done as quickly as possible.

    Our hearts go out to our neighbors who recently experienced a catastrophic water-main failure. Our team had a spare section of pipe that @cityofcalgary needed. We took action. We’re loading the pipe onto a truck as we speak and shipping it up north with love.

    After travelling 1,600+ miles, two pipes have arrived in Calgary, Canada, to aid in the repair of five sections of pipeline where structural deficiencies were found. Repairs on the original feeder main break have been completed. Our hearts go out to @cityofcalgary.

    Our Facilities Maintenance crew, installing wooden supports, known as “stulling.” The @cityofcalgary declared a state of emergency after a water-main failure constrained the city’s water supply. The Water Authority is sending help, in the form of a pipe needed for the repairs.

    The U.S. Department of the Interior has awarded the San Diego County Water Authority $19.4 million for permanent upgrades to the seawater intake at the Claude “Bud” Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Read more: bit.ly/3x7zzCl
