    Replying to @bballbreakdown
Yeh because America's youth needs more cuddling. Tom Izzo is not Bobby Knight and the strength of his relationships with his players is as strong as any.

Good news to close out 2020. The man I pulled out of the bay last night lived. Was a bit worried he died of hypothermia it took me all of 15 minutes to get him untangled from the prop of a boat and the water was 🥶🥶🥶🥶

D3 coaches be grateful. Was on beach w close d1 coaching friend. Up walks a recently retired iconic coach to say hello. In conversation he said that he and Coach Pop wld have arguments w rest of Team USA staff that being a D3 coach was the best level in basketball to coach. Wow

5 or 6 years ago we won 13 games in last minute of play and went on to win the league.Your margin of error could be one more box out, 1 more great D transition, 1 more unselfish poss,1 great poss of communication. Winning and losing is often separated by fundamentals not talent.

The guys that spend the most time in the gym become guys you have trouble keeping off the floor. bball rewards workers and so does life. How u work as an athlete gives a good indication about your futures. The beauty of sports and really a indication of what lies ahead for others

Our country is a bad athletic team. We're not connected, it's never my fault, we have bad habits, lack discipline, we talk the talk but don't walk the walk, it's not we before me, we don't love one another, we are not fundamentally sound, we're not coachable,we lack leadership

When I chased these guys their senior years I knew they'd be good but can't say I knew they'd be this stinking good. What a class! #betterkids

This is great. The guys that don't play as much have no idea how important they are, it is our job as coaches to try and build them up to this by in. It is also their job to be as great as they can be no matter the role.
Read the lips of the player coming off the bench. “Right now! We’re doing this!” Duke was down 23 points and came back to win. But everyone on the team wanted to win. They had the same objective regardless of playing time. Be this player for your team!

I can't believe how many D1 kids appear to be not interested in using the extra year. I get the high level pros but some of the others? What is their hurry? Job market is not great and the great times in college are hard to duplicate later in life

A perfect storm. A sick PG, a tired group and a ridiculously good opponent. So proud of my kids and not primarily bc of going 26-5 but bc of the unbelievable love they showed each other day in and day out. "Connected" is our slogan and no team embodied that and lived

The culture is strong when practice is at 10 and guys are lifting and shooting before 8. The game rewards those that love it back the others just wonder why it's not going right for them.

Had some time to digest the bad news from yesterday and let our guys concentrate on a game. But we're in need of prayers. @CoachHutch24 had a bad heart attack sometime yesterday and your prayers and his strength can help him pull through. Please keep his family in thoughts 🙏

The amount of emails I'm getting from 2021 kids dying for a home is staggering. The limited roster spots is going to trickle dwn for a few years. HS players your intangibles are more important than ever!! Talk on the floor, defend, rebound and play with Passion !!

Thanks for the ❤, a bit embarrassed by the attention. Went to bed a typical coach, second guessing if I had done enough? should I have jumped full in to get man out quicker? If I did wld I have gotten out?Just glad it worked out @ grateful I didn't mind my biz when someone yelled
