Friendly game in the @SussexCricketLg between @WizzyGcc and @RustingtonCC... Wonder if there will be any points deductions before finalising the tables... 🥊🥊🥊🥊

It’s the end of road. We are culling ourselves, going out either at top, or bottom, you decide 🤣 Have a read if you like, if not then thank you for following us, we’ve had a good laugh and it’s been a lot of fun, most of the time. No offence really meant to anyone Badge out 🔫

I’ve been politely asked by @HailshamCC admin to take down the incriminating evidence of their bowler being a complete and utter bellend Normally I would but this Monday I’ve drunk a bottle of wine in the garden which was nice, but unusual So…

Woken up in such a bad mood. Still disgusted that @SussexCCC pathway is £1000 a child. How many kids are being priced out by lazy old men running our sport in this way. Eyes not even half open. I cannot stress how unfair this is, no wonder we lose talent and hope within the game

Must have been a great day out

Early days, but I’ve re-assessed and I don’t think @SussexCCC will win the league

Separately as always a thank you to those who do the hard yards. The groundsmobs, the committees, the volunteers, the umpires, the scorers, the clubs who still do teas, even those who run the league 🤣 Playing isn’t the difficult bit nor is being a two-bob commentator like me 🤣

I’ll stop there but right time to thankthose who enable us to play cricket. It’s easy (and fun) to hide behind an account like this and give it out But without club volunteers, umpires, ground teams, league admins etc I’d have nothing to talk about Well done to all of you too

Good thread, excellent player If you can’t do 1-6 then don’t forget 7 & 8 7 Go to private school 8 Play for a club who are chummy with all the Sussex staff Seems to work for less talented players than Lewis
I started cricket when I was 7 years old. I turned professional at 20 years old. I wasn’t the most talented player at all but I found ways to do it against the odds. Here are 6 things I'd recommend if someone wants to turn pro

You wake up on a Saturday ahead of a big local derby. Healthy breakfast, few practice shots in the mirror, ready for the game. This is your moment...and then...
