Not wearing a mask is the most entitled behavior. It’s a blatant display of ableism and shows a complete and utter lack of concern for other people. It’s a manifestation of the abhorrent self-centered nature of humans.

- When I was 1st coming to terms w/ having been raped & finally giving myself permission to use the word & stop blaming myself, I told my therapist the story. Her response: IDK if I’d call it rape, bc I have a son in college and I’d hate for him to do that and get accused of rape.
- My aunt died of breast cancer bc her husband (my uncle) didn’t want her to get her lymph nodes removed. He wanted to quack-doc, pray, and laugh it away. They were in the movie The Secret as having cured her of breast cancer through positive thinking. She died not much later.
- What’s so upsetting is that if schools want more attendance, they could simply clean the air and keep kids healthy. Instead, they are forcing kids to come to school infectious with a growing list of illnesses. - This is what abusers do. “You are ungrateful.” It’s a common diversion tactic to try to destabilize the victim and make them feel like they are actually the one in the wrong. Today (and every day) is extremely triggering for victims of abuse with this White House.
- I had to take my daughter to the pediatrician today for a well visit. When the doctor walked in, she wasn’t masked, but as soon as she saw our masks, she asked if we wanted her to mask. She later mentioned that her daughter has POTS, and I asked her if she thought she got it 1/
- Watching the Olympics and now they are saying Jade Carey is competing sick and hasn’t been able to eat much in the last few days and fell on Sunday during the floor routine. Her dad/coach is “also under the weather this week.” And then she’s hugging and chatting with the 1/
- CNN saying repeatedly that there were “no VIPs on board, only crew members” is 😖 Your rank, financial status, or job as a government official doesn’t make your life any more valuable than anyone else’s. Those people were VIPs to somebody.
- I went down a Raygun rabbit hole and landed on this absolutely mind-blowing pronunciation of “debut.” This can’t really be how Australians say “debut.” 🤯😭

- I had to go get a mammogram today. I’m high-risk for breast cancer (& Covid), so I brought my air purifier with me back and forth to all offices and waiting rooms and mammogram rooms and ultrasound room. (I had a call back, so it was a lot of rooms). No one batted an eye. But 1/
- This news about the CDC is hitting me super hard. There is no FO coming. There is no “it will get bad enough that they can’t ignore it, and they will have to correct course” coming. We are completely and utterly fucked. And for what? So Joe Biden can get 1/
