    One thing you'll notice about India's economic rise that was missing in China's is how we'll culturally assert ourselves. HanumanKind, Kala Chashma Trend & RRR all in last 2 years. All because of Internet. The great Chinese firewall prevents any such cultural interaction.

    Life update - Last week, on June 30th, we *FINALLY* received the money for our pre-seed round in our bank account! We’d been working on this for more than a year, and it’s hard to describe how surreal it feels!

    Bro you know that OBCs + SCs + STs are 85% of India's population? And they are fighting for ~50% of IIT seats. Also number of seats have increased incredibly. In my time (JEE 2014), there were ~13-14k seats in total, which is now 43k.

    All countries start with low cost labour intensive manufacturing, but we're not even doing that well. Vietnam has greater goods exports than India. Major reforms in land, labour, power needed, but no govt yet has shown the will to implement & drive those reforms

    Would honestly disagree. 40s and 50s created nuclear weapons/energy, transistors and electrical appliances (TV, fridge, washing machine, etc) which completely changed the world

    He's saying the right thing. Wealth redistribution is one of those ideas that's led to disastrous economies in most of Latin America & Soviet bloc states. We're lucky that no one who implements policies believes in these concepts. Robinhood mentality makes everyone poor.

    Which university has produced the most unicorns? Currently it's @Stanford, with 89. @iitdelhi has produced 22. I'm going to stick my neck out and claim that within 15-20 years, IITD will come close to Stanford, might even eclipse it.

    After living in Delhi NCR, whenever I go to any other major city in India, I wonder how people live there. The public transport infrastructure everywhere else is so broken 💔😭
