...At 14U, their next level is HS baseball. Put a BBCOR in their hands and let them fail. Let them figure it out. Sacrifice tournament championships for develop. Better now than at tryouts. Give them a fighting chance to be an impact player early.

Tell this to players and families all the time. Who cares what a player looks like at 12-14yo. Look at their fundamental base, help them get better, and try and figure out how to best help them get bigger, faster, stronger. When it clicks, it clicks!
Late bloomers are tough....They have a chip on their shoulder....And they are constantly out working others to stay competitive....So when their bodies finally catch up to their mental fortitude, they take off development wise and sky becomes the limit when it comes to upside! 💯
