- Why are kids set on D1 or bust?!? Thereโs so many kids I see commit to a โbiggerโ school and sit the bench, when they could have came to play for me as a 4-year starter. If all youโre worried about is a commitment post you are missing out on a great opportunity somewhere else.
- What a chain of eventsโฆ 1. Kilfoyl gets the start instead of Fouts. 2. Fouts is on the first step of the dugout supporting Kilfoyl. 3. Kilfoyl throws a perfect game. ๐ฅ 4. Fouts first one out to hug Kilfoyl. Epitome of a GREAT teammate. WE > me.
- Every player on a team has a role, and every role has a purpose. #culture
- ๐จRECRUITS๐จ If a coach offered you a scholarship.. whether you are committing or not CALL them back with your decision. They took their time recruiting you, so take the time to call them and thank them for the opportunity.
- An athlete is made in the offseason.
- Mental toughness is so underratedโฆ Players that push themselves, refuse to give up, and respond well to adversity are going to be successful.
- A team full of players who know their role is going to be successful.
- Check in on your people. Hug your loved ones. Take time to care for those around you. If you need help, ask. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.
- Postseason softball is DIFFERENT.
- A kid that isn't afraid to fail is going to be a winner.
