    On Fox, Romney says for "the last year or so," Trump has been trying "to corrupt the election." He says this includes "the conduct in Ukraine," "the call to... Raffensperger," and "the incitation to insurrection.” He calls this "an attack on the very foundation of our democracy."

    Sen. Tim Scott tells @jonkarl that instead of saving his account for a lucrative book, Bolton should have "come into the House and testified" under cross-examination so "we would have more information." On Jan. 31, Scott voted twice, successfully, to block a subpoena to Bolton.

    At CPAC, an antivax speaker says he begged his son not to get a COVID shot. “My son...said, ‘Dad, I know you’re super successful at business. But I think you’re just susceptible to conspiracy theories.’” So “I started doing some research on ‘How did they get my kid?’” Classic.

    Today on the Senate floor, the #2 Republican, John Cornyn, said of Russia's election interference: "Nobody disputes the fact that they were unsuccessful in changing a single vote or affecting the outcome." That is an absolutely false statement.

    Today's statement by Senate Republicans, explaining why they'll vote to block the election results, doesn't cite proof of fraud. It cites public "distrust." But Republicans created that distrust by spreading lies. Their attack on the election is circular. bit.ly/3nAOrz4
