One thing we don't talk about regarding Alzheimer's is the incredibly dark humour it engenders. Yesterday dad came up to me with his crossword book, furious. 'Someone's done all my blummin words!' Dramatic pause 'In MY handwriting!!' *Scandalised*

For queer people, everything we do is 'political': Our sex lives, pronouns... all 'political'. But when we are killed? Suddenly it's not political anymore. Suddenly we're ghoulish for 'making it political'. Suddenly it's just a sad random thing. How. Queer.
