Got a labourer helping this week 9-4. Tue he walked home for food on lunch, seemed tired 😴 so made him spag bol, garlic bread, cheese and snacks along with my lad. Microwave on site. Was late today, normally I’m a prick but the lad has clearly been through alot 🙏

I was the only white British man on our building site today I’d say around 15 other Eastern European and Asian lads Lots of language barriers and trades working all over a large site We laughed all day, listening to Asian lads singing along to backstreet boys on my radio was

Food prep done ✔️ Monday to Wednesday For me and my son (18 year old, works full time for me) he’s high carb high protein - rugby and work in the week and shagging on the weekends 🍺 💃🏼 I’m low carb til Wednesday this week then I’ll carb cycle Thursday and Saturday ✔️ Good

As a dad regardless if your a complete family or co parent - be present Show them the basics - health, timekeeping, hard work and most of all fun 🤩 Something as basic as a weekend away in a caravan in rainy Wales on rugby tour is all it takes to realise how much they need you
