We had race riots 3 months ago. Razor thin majorities over Reform in many Labour heartland seats. A loto who parrots Trump playbook talking points and a govt who just put up bus fares and took people's heating money. If you don't think something like this can't happen here...well

Her use of unnecessary synonyms in the subtitle bodes poorly for her intellect.
Readers added context
They are not synonyms in the literary studies world. Modern works are those produced—roughly—between 1860 and 1960. Contemporary works refers to art of the moment, being produced by current artists. The two periods have several philosophical and stylistic differences. britannica.com/story/whats-th…

Universities outright telling students they'll suspend them from courses they've paid tuition for if they try to get out of their halls rental contracts really is just saying the quiet part out loud. Truly grim.

I joined #USS 8 years ago. Was told I'd get 17k a year in retirement-not rich but comfortable. These cuts plus inflation mean by the time I'm 80 I'll get 9k a year. I've just been told my heating bill will be 3k this year. I'm not sure people realise just how catastrophic this is
