Prayers needed. My sweet granddaughter Bella is in the ICU here in Florida with a breathing tube (hopefully for not much longer). The last 24 hours have been emotional for all of us. We’re confident she’ll be okay but right now it’s hard to take. My heart aches.

- I never thought I’d ever say this again about me - but I have cancer, again. This time prostate cancer. 20 years ago it was Hodgkin’s Disease. I’ve often said Cancer doesn’t care who you are or who you love. The road ahead won’t be easy but my plan is to go 2-for-2!
- The feeling you get when you find out your prostate cancer treatments worked! Doctor says you’re officially 2for2!!!
GIF - From my son, Ryan!! God is good. 🙏 A tremendous weight has been lifted. Bella’s MRI showed no signs of a stroke, an overwhelming relief. She’s already spoken a few words and is nodding yes and no. There’s still a long road ahead. We are grateful. Thank you for the prayers!
- I have just three radiation treatments left! I can see the light....
GIF - My thanks to the GREAT nurses and staff at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood-and my team of Docs-got thru surgery today with radiation on horizon #realmenweargowns #2for2
- Passed the halfway mark of treatment today -14 down 12 to go! This has been a long process but hanging in. Can’t wait to be done
- From my son, Ryan: Hi everyone - quick update on Bella. They took the breathing tube out yesterday, and she was able to breathe on her own. However, things have taken a scary turn over the last 10 hours. We remain hopeful. Keep the prayers coming!! Thank you.
- When I was diagnosed with cancer in 1998, I was told by my oncologist I couldn’t mow my yard. One day, a lawn service showed up out of the blue. Sid and Chad hired them. I’ve kept that service ever since. RIP Sid.
- I’ve always been up front about my cancer news good and bad and today more good news. Two years out from prostate cancer and PSA very low and health is great! Thank you @mnoncology and all the great docs and nurses! Let’s not forget cancer research during Covid! @RSCRCF
- Here’s bottom line. I don’t have cancer and get your damn yearly physical. Battery of tests including dreaded bone marrow biopsy Monday- but got great news today. It starts with a physical - I’m talking to you - GUYS.
