COMMON TREES OF THE SOUTHEASTERN US AND SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS A lot of outdoorsy people don't know their trees. That's a shame. This thread is an introduction to common species and some of their identifiable characteristics. (leaf shape, bark, etc.) All images taken by me.

Plastic wrapped silage is the reason for this btw, grass fed steers eat a lot of silage, it gets really hot in the plastic while fermenting (prob absorbs some) and some farmers don’t even take the plastic off before cattle eat the bales so they eat the plastic lol

Apparently modern science has made it so that we are able to concoct a massive list of substances and bake them into bread so it can be shipped 1000 miles but has made us unable to actually just bake bread with water yeast and flour somewhat close to where people live
