One of the best ways to make friends as a 20 something is to take classes for things that interest you - could be anything - a cooking class, yoga, painting, knitting, a book club, etc. those people there already have similar interests to you and therefore itโ€™s easier to connect

Office workers under fluorescent lights all day, looking at screens, and having bad posture sitting at a desk all day could also arguably be sacrificing your body.

Gonna reply to this again, my goodness. Some of you guys say โ€œthereโ€™s only older peopleโ€ or โ€œthis class only had kids in it. Okay, guess what? Worst case scenario, you meet no one, but learn a new skill. Thatโ€™s cool, and then you have something interesting to talk about when you

Me: โ€œmy periods are completely normal not being on birth control.โ€ Dr: โ€œcan I interest you in this pill to suppress your period?โ€ ????

This is bothersome. Letโ€™s set aside the fact that this is an experimental vaccine, still in trial till 2023; not everyone can get vaccinated due to health conditions, religious beliefs, etc. This is going to create a two tiered society. Also, violates Nuremberg code

A recent Ipsos poll found that a majority of Canadians were in favour of using COVID-19 vaccine passports in order to travel, go to a concert or attend university classes. Would you support the implementation of vaccine passports? Read more: trib.al/NvT8uxY

Feels so nice going for an ocean swim, + absorbing the minerals from the sea, and sun basking for hours. Cannot sympathize with the solar police โ„ข๏ธ about staying outta the sun. Youโ€™ll get more wrinkles due to bone loss (lack of vit d) and blue light exposure (1/2)

Another thing, โ€œI donโ€™t have time for a classโ€, my response: if you genuinely want to build a solid genuine friend group, remember that takes effort. Do you have space in your life for friends in terms of time, effort, reciprocation?

Do meet someone!!!! Be interesting to talk to! Be open! Older people have kids, that could be in your age group. And they could introduce you if youโ€™re receptive. This is just ONE way. If it doesnโ€™t apply to you, donโ€™t do it. The bottom line is: get yourself out there.
