Lovie Smith was a #Bears HC, through and through. He said “If we beat the Packers twice and lose every other game, we had a successful season” He went to a Super Bowl. He coached for Illinois. And on January 8th, 2023, he made the call to go for 2. Here’s to you, Lovie —🐻⬇️

Matt Eberflus got everything he could’ve asked for today: - FOUR turnovers on D - Clean game from his offense - 250+ combined yards from his QB - Outstanding clock-killing drive late And his decisions STILL resulted in a loss. He’s not the guy. He simply cannot stay past 2023.

There's a part of Justin Fields' game we aren't talking about enough -- his dropback pace is bizarrely slow. Ever wonder why it feels like the #Bears' OL is always giving up immediate pressure? This may be part of it. Both plays are shotgun 5-step drops. Digging in more now.

After trading for DJ Moore and Chase Claypool, it's pretty embarrassing to see the #Bears act like their passing offense is entirely dependent on their rushing attack. The Bears have schemed up more touches for TEs and FBs than the best unit on their offense. Pretty unreal.

The Cardinals, starting a QB they traded for weeks ago, are beating a good Cowboys team. The Texans, with 4 OL backups & a rookie QB, beat the Jags. The Bears, using the team they spent all offseason with, are getting annihilated. Which coaching staff isn't like the others?
