Y’all have no idea what this bronze means. There’s barely any investment in Olympic sports in Brazil, only soccer. These women have funded themselves for the majority of their lives. Rebeca came from the favelas. These are super heroes who have beat all odds.

Btw, one of the athletes in the team designs some of the leotards. She told recently that her dad used to make her leotards before the Brazilian gymnastic federation got a sponsorship in 2018. Now they have more options but still weigh in on the designs!
