After a very satisfactory season, will contract renewals be the icing on the cake of the sting in the tail? Perry Ng, Ryan Wintle and Joel Bagan have all had brilliant seasons and the ball is now in their court. This coming week will surely be pivotal roathboy.com/will-contract-…

The Sol Bamba news has fucked me up. What a lovely, inspiring, giant of a man. I’ve never seen a player step into the Cardiff team and completely transform it through the sheer force of their personality before. He was a born leader and created so many iconic moments. So, so sad

It wouldn’t surprise me if Ramsey had earmarked Stoke away for his return because it’s clearly and understandably a very emotive place for him. The way they treat him, for having his leg smashed to pieces there, is bizarre. He seemed to take a great deal of enjoyment in the win

‘Why can’t we just embrace what Cardiff City is? We’re physical, horrible to play against and we run further than teams. We win battles and we’ve got quality now. Why do we need to change Cardiff to be successful? Not every team should play out from the back.’ Bravo Will Vaulks👏🏻

Last year, Andreas Cornelius scored one goal in 29 games as Parma were relegated to Serie B. A £7.5m flop. Again. Now 29, he joined Trabzonspor in the summer for £4.5m. After scoring 17 goals. He’s led them to the title and they now call him The King of the North! What an enigma

If relegation is off the table, titles and promotion should be too. You can’t pick and choose. It’s both or neither

So chuffed for Robert Page. He wasn’t a popular appointment and I wasn’t especially enthused at the time either, but like Chris Coleman before him, he took charge in difficult circumstances and has done a fantastic job. He deserves more credit for what he’s achieved
