- My wife just pointed out the reason I love having the kids home on snow days is that it gives me someone to play with. No, I didn't shovel the driveway or fold the laundry but I DID shoot buzzer beaters on the nerf hoop for 2 hours and pitch a living room home run derby.

00:00 - My heart aches for all the athletes that won't get an opportunity to compete this spring, especially the seniors. What makes me feel better is after getting to know many of the truly amazing young people I cover I have absolutely no doubt they will respond to this like champions.
- An update: I’ve been dealing with a health issue that has kept me from getting out to games the last few weeks as the process/recovery has taken longer than expected. I’m doing good, I feel much better and I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and covering area teams!

- Brief break from game tweets for this update. Brought my daughter to the game tonight to play with her friends. She just rushed into the press box right after the opening kick, gave me a hug and told me she loved me. Then ran out. Night made.
