This is a disturbing & disastrous trend on Tik Tok! Young people desperate 4 followers are setting fire to our forests during this hot & dry season! In Australia it is lifetime imprisonment for those who start wildfires. We need to introduce similar legislation ⁦@WildlifeBoard

Thats my father in law, Syed Sajad Haider, the legendary 1965 & 1971 PAF war hero, PAF zindabad!
PAF in 1965 "Getting shot by Indian I don't think it's possible" "don’t give them British aircraft they’re doing really bad publicity for your airplanes" Decades later, nothing has changed. India has destroyed the image of Rafale and lost 6-0 to🇵🇰

IWMB’s experts have now determined DHA leopard did come from wild. He’s not showing any signs of being domesticated. We believe he came at night from Kahuta’s forests around 6 km from DHA-2. Forests in area are under stress. Good news as he can be returned to wild @WildlifeBoard

Great news: today PM Imran Khan directed that a special zone in the Margallah Hills be declared as a leopard preservation zone. He also approved establishment of Wildlife Information Center at Islamabad’s old Marghazar Zoo! @WildlifeBoard

The lone male common leopard captured from DHA was sedated and brought safely to IWMB’s rescue & rehab centre. The leopard is now awake & roaming inside it’s enclosure. There were NO fatalities. Everyone is safe and sound! @WildlifeBoard @ClimateChangePK

No respect for national park no respect for wildlife & no respect for our park rangers. Today these individuals brought their jeep inside trail 4 claiming it was a jeep track. They were then rude to IWMB volunteers who tried to stop them (the park rangers were inside the trail).

Those who set fire to forests don’t realise damage they do to wildlife! It is breeding season for birds in Margallahs right now & their ground nests destroyed by fire, can’t even escape! Here’s video sent by KP forest dept after recent fires in Haripur side ⁦@WildlifeBoard

Monal restaurant has been selling food as takeaway to public & people have been eating food in forest nearby & chucking waste during Ramzan. It’s criminal! Monal is an illegally constructed restaurant adding to pollution of MHNP! We need public help to shut it down after lockdown

Injured common leopard, a beautiful young female, arrived at midnight in Isd from Muzaffarabad. Her x Ray revealed 5-6 pellets from rifle inside her. One lodged in middle of vertebral column hence paralysis. Vets tried to operate to save her, she did not survive. @WildlifeBoard

This beauty, we call her Shezadi, has been spotted by cameras between trails 4 & 6 for several nights in Jan. Not so common leopard is top predator of Margalla Hills National Park & critically endangered species. Plz don’t use trails at night & go in groups ⁦@WildlifeBoard

Plz help us identify 2 individuals who violated guidelines that NO visitor should be on Trails 4&6 after sunset. They narrowly avoided encounter with leopard Shezadi at 6.20pm. After dark Margalla Hills belong to wildlife! Violators will be fined & jailed ⁦@WildlifeBoard

Sad to report this beautiful young male common leopard died from his injuries after falling from cliff in Kaghan in KP despite best efforts by @WildlifeKPGovt to save him. Severe head injury. He was chasing Gorals on cliffs & fell almost 200 ft. Nature can be cruel @WildlifeBoard
