- Grief is a man in sad pajamas that you keep locked in a room because he's proof you used to love something. Set him free. Let him leave (or stay) if he has to. You have other proof. Setting him free is not a betrayal of your love. Healing: not a betrayal. Don't romanticize it.
- Thanks to everyone for the head's up about Yellowjackets, Bones and All, and Hannibal, but my screenplay will be different because there won't be any love, desire, or sexuality in it. They are only mildly fond of each other. It's cannibalism as a metaphor for friendship.
- I'm not saying Taylor Swift is gay or not. Until she tells me, it's none of my business. My question is: how mad are you going to get when you find out that I'm not gay? I mean, will it matter? The poems won't change, will they?

- I've noticed a problem we're having. We're not agreeing on what some words mean. Solitude isn't loneliness. Desire isn't love. And worse, sometimes when we're filled with existential dread we're really only hungry. You gotta learn all the flavors and get good at identifying them.
- There's a show on Netflix called Heartstoppers. On a recent episode, Issac is reading Crush at a party.
