- There is no “guilt-free & ethical” way to visit Hawai’i, especially not now. No, we don’t need your tourism to survive. (Please stop with the savior syndrome) Even if you are a person of color, it doesn’t give you a “pass” to visit during a pandemic.

- The way some folks are framing the loss on Maui as a “loss of their paradise” is disgusting. Locals, including Native Hawaiians have been hurt and have lost so much. Fuck your settler paradise, where is your humanity?
- I just want people to know - the fires on Maui are heavy on the hearts of people across all islands, this impacts the whole community. We are one community & we stand for each other. We don’t want visitors on any island right now. We’re still trying to care for our communities.
- Replying to @renmaichaAs a follow up, please do not make kanaka (native Hawaiians) do the work for you - such as asking us how to come here while minimalizing harm. Listen to what we’ve already said and do what you can. Donate to Hawaiian people, do your research.

- Proud to officially announce that I will begin my Masters in Asian International Affairs this Fall semester. I am a proud Taiwanese, Japanese, Hawaiian woman. My goal is to learn & educate on Asian diaspora issues, but also to create outreach programs for Asian diaspora youth.
