    In 2012, I met Mike Leach in a hotel elevator. I was wearing an A-State T-shirt. He said, “Arkansas State. Great rugby team”! The next 2 minutes, I exhausted all my knowledge about rugby. When I tried to switch to football, he had no interest. Just wanted to talk rugby! 😂

    As of this morning, @AStateFB is now 1st in the nation in sacks at 3.71 per game! They’re also top 5 nationally in tackles for a loss.

    There are 32 states that have multiple FBS teams. Until now, 31 of those states have witnessed in-state FBS matchups. Only 1 state has not. That finally changes this weekend.

    I’ve honestly never worked with a finer person than Tommy Raffo. Took an under-resourced program & made them competitive in one of the toughest leagues in the nation. Universally respected throughout the Sun Belt & the world of college baseball. First class in every way!

    Congrats to @BlaiseTaylor1 on another record! With the pick 6, he’s now the @SunBelt career leader in passes defended (Interceptions + Pass break ups) with 34, passing ULM’s Greg James, who had 33 passes defended from 2006-2009.

    Taking a trip to Cooperstown is something I knew would be special, but taking it with my dad is something I’ll always be thankful for. Thanks goes to him for my love of sports & especially for my love of baseball. Was a fun day!
