Imagine going to a bar and seeing some Nazis getting bounced and saying to your friend "we should avoid that bar, they might kick us out. Let's go to the bar where nobody gets kicked out"- I just spent, no lie, 4.5 hours fighting with SSH into an EC2 instance because I was using the username ec2_user instead of ec2-user.
