    We’ve heard loud & clear from Torontonians that they want the Ontario Science Centre to remain in its current location. The Auditor General’s findings indicate that the Province’s relocation plans will cost MORE than reopening the existing building.

    No more waiting: the Province needs to use April Break to offer mass vaccinations for education staff. This would remove vaccination appointment staffing issues, + all EDU workers could be fully vaccinated in time for next year. @OPSBA @ETFOeducators @Sflecce @ldw39 @ONeducation

    Students, teachers and parents are telling us we need to revert to traditional semesters for Term 2. Last week, @aarts_michelle and I moved an advocacy motion in support of @OPSBA's call for local determination on schedules. Unanimous support @ committee, on to board Wednesday!

    The data is conclusive – slowing down traffic saves lives. Today, City Council voted for my motion to accelerate the implementation of 30km/h Reduced Speed Zones. It is imperative that we speed this work up to make our roads safer.

    Last night @tdsb’s Planning and Priorities comm., trustees unanimously supported a motion put forward by @trixiedoyle and I to advocate to the Minister of Education @Sflecce for a return to traditional semesters if the public health situation allows. @cbcJillDempsey @trixiedoyle
