    8 years ago to date July 10, 2013 I told @danielrainge & coach Brad to keep an eye on this kid. They gave me that “sure dad, just take the pic already” look.🤣 But seriously, the were both kind enough to give my son words of encouragement.🏀❤️ @NBA @celtics

    Yep it still doesn’t seem real. Wish I could share some of the advice this guy has given my son over the years. And now tonight he’ll be on the same court with him. Trae is calm & cool about it. But dad still gets the chills and all emotional 😂😂😂 RESPECT

    My relationship with @TheTraeYoung is something that I hope all fathers have. Since the 6th grade, I’ve texted him before games to remind him of who he is and how hard he’s worked. He told me last night what my Father’s Day gift would be. ❤️🏀🙏🏾Love you son

    10 year anniversary of this picture. Game 1 @okcthunder beat @MiamiHEAT with KD dropping 36/8…my friend @Davidvanterpool grabbed my son & said “come meet @KDTrey5” …the rest was history. I asked @KendrickPerkins but he BIG TIMED us😂 Just playing💯

    I say this in the most HUMBLE way possible. But @TheTraeYoung has been doing this since the 8th grade...he’s just on a bigger stage now & he has always had coaches that would “LET HIM BE HIM!” I’m not surprised cause I’ve seen this ALL B4🏀❤️🙏🏾 go @ATLHawks

    I’m not even sure what to tweet right now. I’m just sad & mad.....I think I want a championship for the City of Atlanta just as much as I want one for my son @TheTraeYoung But as always, I believe in my son.....and I’m proud of him & this team. Go @ATLHawks

    I’m proud of the @ATLHawks & proud of my son @TheTraeYoung But I’ve watched him do this for years. I’ve just prayed for the day when other people would start to notice his game. Let’s keep it going though. The job is not finished. 🏀❤️🙏🏾💯
