In worship today I witnessed a man baptize his 82-year-old father who came to Christ 3 days ago. Then the dad baptized his 60-year-old daughter who professed her faith in Christ. What a day. What a God!

Friends, Woke up yesterday with chest pains. Diagnosed with “Cardiac event” (PC for heart attack) One artery 100% blocked was repaired with a stent. Minor muscle damage is expected to heal. Overnight @ Williamson Co Med Center. Thanks for praying. Home & doing well now!

Today a Lake Charles, LA 35 year veteran law enforcement officer received Christ as Savior in the presence of 3 of his fellow officers as a result of the witness of a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief worker.

URGENT: Please pray for Dana Work, wife of former Candies Creek Pastor Jamie work. Dana has had a fall causing severe head injury. At hospital in Knoxville. In very serious condition. Jamie and Dana are champions for Christ needing us to stand in the gap of prayer right now.

I’ve already communicated w/3 pastors today that have been tending to hurting people. Pastors will leave their family Christmas meal to rush to a hospital. Change their plans to minister @ a funeral. That kind of thing. Why? Because they’re shepherds. Appreciate your Pastor.

37 y/o BiVo Pastor Zack Lloyd, has been in ICU battling Covid for over 6 weeks. Today he is fighting for his life. Please pray for Zack.

This is worth celebrating: Tennessee Baptist Churches saw 467 MORE people saved, baptized and set on the road to discipleship in 2019 than 2018. We rejoice!! #WinTN

36,895,238 people in North America have been saved, baptized, and set on the road to discipleship by the efforts of Southern Baptist churches since 1845. This Sunday 1 more will be added when I get to baptize McKenna, my 11 y/o granddaughter. PTL for EACH 1!
