I'm calling on Congress to pass legislation immediately to adopt the Tentative Agreement between railroad workers and operators. Let me be clear: a rail shutdown would devastate our economy. Without freight rail, many U.S. industries would shut down.

A union is about working people having each other’s backs, making sure you get the pay and benefits you deserve. That’s how we rebuild the middle class. Employers aren’t supposed to undermine that. The PRO Act will make sure your right to join one is protected. Pass it.
