- A huge THANK YOU to Former U.S. Congressman, @BetoORourke for visiting us in @desototx today. The $25K grant from @poweredxpeople blessed our most vulnerable citizens following the TX winter storm. I’m grateful for your support of #DeSotoTX. DeSoto Rises, Mayor RachelOne of America’s great mayors, @rachellproctor of DeSoto who went door to door in the February Texas freeze to check on her constituents. We visited some of them today to see how they’re doing.
