Ress is built using Reth SDK in under 4K lines of code. It reuses reth's networking stack and implements a "witnessed" EVM executor. Feedback and contributions are welcome!

Ress adopts partial statelessness to eliminate worst-case witness size by storing bytecodes on disk. It fetches witnesses and bytecodes over the RLPx subprotocol from stateful peers.

very exciting! i assume this is computing the block state root as well. how did you resolve the case of the blinded node (when the branch node with `n` children has `n - 1` children deleted from the trie during state transition and has to be turned into an extension node)?
