UnitedHealthcare has dropped Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from its network, leaving 20,000 cancer patients (including me) without access to our doctors and life-saving treatment starting July 1. Cancer patients cannot simply “go elsewhere.” Finding new specialists- Just finished my last dose of chemo, hopefully ever 🥳

- Holy crap! 2 weeks ago I received some terrible, horrible, no good, very bad news from my doctors. Today they just called me to let me know they’ve discussed it and spoken with the experts and have decided they can still do a full stem cell transplant to cure my cancer!! 😭I had an appointment yesterday with my stem cell transplant doctor. It did not go as I had hoped, things are far worse than we initially thought, and I have been so numb / depressed all day my body feels like it is shutting down. Any sense of optimism is now gone. 💔😭

- I have a donor!!! I'm utterly elated to share that I've received some incredible news from my physician today. A remarkable individual has been selected and agreed to be the donor for my upcoming bone marrow transplant on October 12th.
- This may look sweet and cute but Sean was giggling looking at my butt the entire time as the doctors were complimenting it 😂🤍
The best part of my bone marrow biopsies is all the compliments I get on my butt from the doctors 🤭🍑 today my cheeks were referred to as “buns of steel” 😂
