I dont think there will be a sequel. Some stories are meant to be incomplete... and that was the very essence of this series. Making a sequel to get these two together would be unfit for the very core of this story. This story was never about two people, but just one- Go Young.
If we're talking box office, DP's starpower was the only driving factor for whatever it made. There was no positive WOM. The screenplay was terrible. How well do you expect a docu-drama to do in India in terms of numbers? Deepika's spectaular performance was the only saving grace
