- What you need to know about #WVTeachersStrike :Governor offered a deal. Teachers and service personnel agreed to it. The House voted for it 98-1. @SenCarmichaelWV and GOP Senators are prolonging strike for political gain. Your kids aren’t in school because of Senate Republicans
- As an elected Democrat in WV, I understand the political realities of a red state. However, I truly believe many in WV would benefit from paid leave, child tax credits, worker retraining, lower drug costs and many of the provisions in BBB. Good policy is always the best politics.

- I just received a phone call from a young constituent who will be leaving WV and taking his business, employees with him. @WVGOP is bad for business and families and especially harmful to women. Sadly they don’t care. They don’t want you here unless you look and pray like them.

- The new talking point from the GOP in the Legislature is that WV teachers are being misled and misinformed by their “union bosses”. That’s an insult to the intelligence of our teachers. They can read the papers, watch the live feed and figure out who’s on their side and who’s not
