- there is a small truth in this, the ireland women's team shouldn't be compared to the men's team because at least they managed to qualify for a world cup in the last two decades xwhat a strange man, he even said “an irish team” which is wildly unspecific and then was super rude to this very nice girl
- alan sugar asking a kid on children in need when was the last time arsenal won a trophy and the kid answered "well, the women's champions league" - incredible, 10/10
- it's actually impossible to put into words how much I hate every single thing about thisyuckk feels incredibly degrading and sexist. you don’t need to Girlbossify and dumb down “sports content” (using that term loosely) in pink glowy text and memes to engage a female audience
- yeah it's clearer with every passing day that these sports brands already have their target audience in mind and if you're not it, tough luckit's so interesting seeing brands constantly miss the mark but it's even more interesting seeing who they're clearly more focused on targeting - the reaction on here has been overwhelmingly negative, but the tiktok audience they're catering for doesn't seem to feel the same way
- opening match opening match of the 21/22 vs. of the 23/24 WSL season WSL season
- three manager of the month wins and she's only been in that role for four months, my gaffer 🐐Four wins, 15 goals scored ✅ Arsenal's Renee Slegers wins her third Barclays WSL Manager of the Month award of the season 🏆
- SECURING OUR SPOT IN THE SEMI-FINALS! 🔥
- jess carter has had an insane game, never mind physical but the mental strength to get on the pitch and perform like that? unreal
- she kills me, professional yet completely disapproving 😭😭
